Prerequisites:
- Loans are available exclusively to members
- Members must have saved for at least 6 months consecutively before they can apply for a loan
- Savings should be at least one-third of the loan amount
- Loans can be up to 3 times the value of savings
- Members must have a clear understanding of their business
- First-time borrowers seeking a business loan must undergo a mandatory business management and technical skills training
- Imbita members receive a free business training workshop, while non-members are charged a fee for the training
- First time borrowers are limited to a loan amount of E5,000.00 and second time borrowers to a maximum of E25,000.00
